Charlotte, North Carolina is a city full of vibrant energized southern hospitality. A city full of hard working people who also love to play hard after a long week of steady grinding (focused accomplished work day/week/month/etc…) I recently challenged the ladies of Honeywell Production to get out and about to meet, mingle, and sight see with who and what the City of Charlotte has to offer; and also what we have to offer the city in return. For the next two months the ladies will provide pictures and information of the people and sites of Charlotte with some form of substance/story behind them. Having lived in other major cities such as Los Angele's, New York, New York and Washington D.C., we must say that the City of Charlotte does a fine job holding on and keeping up with providing diverse attraction sites, activities and community gatherings for the people of Charlotte and surrounding areas.
We decided to begin this series of “getting to know Charlotte” over the Labor Day weekend and a few of the ladies of Honeywell Productions hit the streets and broke out the cameras. On day one we met Lynn, a mother who lost her son two years ago in a tragic accident; every Friday Lynn hosts a happy hour full of food and drinks to remember and honor her son and those who’ve also lost loved ones for family and friends to celebrate the life that was. For more information on how to take part in Lynn’s Friday Happy Hour please send an email to Iceycyllah@gmail.com subject title: Lynn’s Friday HH
On day two the ladies teamed up with Three M Entertainment, a local entertainment company based in Charlotte, NC that provide positive outlets and entertainment for local youth and teens along with club promoting, party promoting, producing concerts, and hosting fabulous cookouts to name a few things. The founder and CEO of Three M Entertainments, Jonathan Boddie, unfortunately passed away two months ago passing on the title of CEO to his best friend and mentor Frank Hampton III; and in his honor this particular event was their first annual themed cookout titled: “End of Summer Hustle Hard Cookout.” To contact Three M Entertainment please send emails to CheeCheeHampton@yahoo.com
*The ladies attended a Virgo birthday bash following the cookout also thrown by Three M Entertainment.
Day three was dedicated to the high school football frenzy lovers in us all, it was a day for the ladies to reminisce on their high school days of Friday Night Football accompanied with that extra entertainment from the school band, cheerleaders and dance drill teams. For months the buzz around high school football has filled the air and it’s only right that we high light these promising teens and the football frenzy surrounding them.(WHO KNEW HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYED SUCH A MAJOR ROLE THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITIES OF CHARLOTTE, NC) (THE LADIES OF HONEYWELL KNEW THAT’S WHO!!!!!) The ladies attended the Harding University High School (RAMS) vs. West Charlotte High School (LIONS) football game; because they are known for their intense rivalry and emotionally involved parents the ladies had to see what the fuss really is all about.
But of course they didn't capture photo's of the football teams...LOL
